What is free right now?
The browser tools, the public API without a key (60 requests a minute per IP address), certificate expiry alerts by email, My domains and the README badges. None of them needs an account. The browser tools stay free: they run in your browser.
When will paid plans open, and what will they cost?
Prices are not set yet. Paid plans open once the waitlist shows which plans are needed and in what volumes. Everyone on the waitlist of a plan hears about it before it opens, and nothing is charged before you agree to a price.
Does joining the waitlist commit me to anything?
No. Joining asks for no payment details and creates no account. A request counts once you confirm it from the email we send, and the link in our emails takes you off the waitlist at any time.
What do you keep about me on the waitlist?
Your email address, the plan, the number of domains, your answer to “What do you need?”, the language of the page and when you joined; if you join while signed in with the same address, a link to your account. We use it to tell you when the plan opens and to decide what to build, and we do not share it. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days; leaving the waitlist deletes your request.
How will monitoring store my data?
Monitoring will keep the domains you add, where alerts go, and the results of their checks (certificate dates, grade, post-quantum status) for the history period of your plan. It connects only to public hosts, as the Health report does: keys and documents you paste into the tools still never leave your browser. Deleting your account deletes its monitors and their history.
Do I need an account?
Not for anything that is free today. Paid plans will belong to an account, because API keys and monitors need an owner.
What if I need more than Team, or special terms?
Choose Enterprise on the waitlist and describe what you need in the answer field: volumes, an SLA, where data is kept, invoicing. Every answer is read.
